Your data,
your call
This site collects personal data in exactly two places: the demo form and the contact form. Nothing else about your visit is collected, and nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers. This notice says what we hold, why, for how long, and how to make us delete it.

What we collect, and why
If you request a demo, we ask for your name, your work email, your organisation, what kind of organisation it is, and your translation workload. If you use the contact form, we ask for your name, your work email, and your message. We use this information to reply to you, to prepare and run the demo you asked for, and to follow up on the conversation you started. That is the whole list. We do not add you to marketing lists, we do not profile you, and we never sell or rent personal data.
Our legal basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests: you contacted a business about its product, and we respond in kind. You can object at any time, and we stop.
Where it lives
Form submissions are stored in our own systems on Microsoft Azure enterprise infrastructure, the same platform the product runs on. When a submission arrives, an email notification is sent to our team so a person can reply. Microsoft acts as our infrastructure provider and processes data on our instructions. No other company receives your data.
How long we keep it
As long as the conversation you started needs, and no longer than a reasonable business record of it. Ask us to delete your submission and we delete it, promptly and without argument.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or third-party
trackers. Every font, style and script is served from our own
domain, so simply visiting tells no one else anything. The one
thing stored in your browser is your cookie-consent choice
itself, kept in local storage under the name
lexmetra-consent. The consent banner exists so
that if we ever add analytics, it stays off until you allow it;
today there is nothing to allow.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or hand it over in a portable form. Use the contact form and we act on it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this notice changes, the change appears on this page with a new date below. We will not quietly weaken it.
